Inside the Musee' were some of the largest painting I have ever seen. The Louvre is primarily very old art. The Pompadu is very modern (less than 400 yrs old is young in Europe) and the D'Orsay Musee' is everything in between. We saw all three in two days. It was all really overwhelming.
